Public Service: 

Michael has more than 30 years of political and public service experience. Working on his first political campaign at age 15, he is a veteran of more than 60 campaigns.  This culminated in his successful run for City Council in 2019. Since then Michael has led his district to more than 200m dollars in private sector investment, led the cities rebranding efforts, and driven social innovations such as DEI department in city government, securing 3m dollars for a minority business incubator, and authoring a historic policy brief designed at comprehensively disrupting racially concentrated areas of poverty.
