A 20+ year communications veteran, Misty Ebel continually strives to operate with integrity and lead with empathy. Her approach is based on a firm belief that if we start from a place of "doing the right thing," we can build more effective communications and amplify the work of the organization.

 

She began her career in journalism, before moving into marketing and communications roles in the public, private, corporate and nonprofit sectors. Her broad skill set includes strategic communications, content strategy and development, branding, public relations, corporate affairs, internal communications, issues and crisis management, digital marketing, and social media strategy.

 

Misty earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Wingate University, with an emphasis in Journalism and a minor in Art. She graduated magna cum laude with University Honors, with membership in the Phi Eta Sigma honor society, and served as editor in chief of the campus newspaper her senior year.
